is it Senator Comedian Al Franken or Comedian Senator Al Franken.
I'm going with Comedian Senator Al Franken, because this is a big fat joke.
Say what you want about Franken, but Norm Coleman is now 1-2 in statewide elections, losing to Al Franken and Jesse Venture, with his only victory coming after his opponent died. That says something about what the people of MN think of him, no?
Well, I don't think it's the strongest point because his other two opponents were celebrities. Look at who the CA gov. is.
It would/will be the same outcome if (god forbid) Sean Penn or (god forbid) Stephen Colbert or (god forbid) Alec Baldwin were on the ballot, they'd likely have good turn out and probably win.
And I'd also like to point out that Coleman didn't lose his ass in the election against Ventura. Skip Humphrey came in third.
